How Camille Grammer Responded to ‘RHOBH’ Backlash Over Brett Kavanaugh Support – TooFab

“Camille, you are confusing AF right now,” one critic tweeted. “You can’t compare people calling you the most hated Housewife nine years ago to alleged sexual abuse.”

Twitter was far from kind toCamille Grammerafter the comments she made in support ofBrett KavanaughonTuesday’s episodeof“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Camille told her co-stars she felt Dr. Christine Ford — the woman who accused the Supreme Court Justice of sexually assaulting her when they were teens — “didn’t have enough evidence.”

“If [that happened to you] at 15, you would tell your best friend or you would tell your parents,” Camille stated in an impassioned speech. “I’m a victim, too. I told my boyfriend, I told my mother, I told my therapist. I told people! I didn’t hold onto it for 35 years. This woman has some serious allegations, and I feel bad for what him and his family are going through.”

Camille went on to say she knows what it’s like to be “wrongfully accused and humiliated all over the country, the world, forlies,”likening the grief she felt Kavanaugh was experiencing to the hate she received following her very public divorce fromKelsey Grammer.Lisa Rinnawas beside herself, butKyle Richardsmanaged to put out the fire before Camille got torched by her co-stars. Twitter, however, didn’t let up so easily.

“Camille, you are confusing AF right now,” one critic tweeted. “You can’t compare people calling you the most hated Housewife nine years ago to alleged sexual abuse.” Another dissenter shared, “AND WHAT KIND OF EVIDENCE SHOULD ONE HAVE, CAMILLE?! A CAMERA CREW TO FILM IT?!”

The backlash was relentless, and most tweets echoed the same sentiment, but Camille only responded to one person.

“FYI, most women don’t tell when they have been sexually attacked,” the message read. “Please educate yourself.”

“I have. You are correct. Not all women do,” Camille replied.

Looks like tonight Camille is the “morally corrupt” one…

— Tory Banknell (@ToryBanknell)April 17, 2019

Camille Grammer did that thing tonight where conservatives spout their horrifying opinions and then have a meltdown when forced to face the social consequences of their putrid morals.

Camille asking for evidenced a sexual assault is horrendous and despicable. What evidence are you looking for? Video? Photos? A judge to admit he assaulted her? This is making me sick to my stomach. I will no longer watch Camille scenes. She no longer exists for me.#RHOBH

— JC (@jc7866)April 17, 2019

Omg Camille. Not every woman feels safe enough to tell people about their assault. We see you now. No longer a fan.#RHOBH

— Shoe Lovers ❤ (@HeelLovers)April 17, 2019

Thank you Rinna for calling Camille out on her hypocrisy!#RHOBH

— Randy Haas (@Randy_Haas)April 17, 2019

I lost ALL respect for Camille over this Brett Kavanaugh debacle. When she came out and said she had been abused, no one questioned her, everyone rallied around and supported her! 🤬#RHOBH

— Randy Haas (@Randy_Haas)April 17, 2019

Welp, all it took was that one single scene for me to completely despise Camille. Again.#RHOBH

Camille I don’t feel that your name being slandered over housewives is the same as not believe someone speaking out about sexual assault. Seriously get a grip#believewomen#rhobh

— Mousewife (@mousewives)April 17, 2019

I’m not sure if I’ll ever be ready to watch tonight’s episode of#RHOBHwhere Camille willingly throws herself off the bridge after Brett Kavanaugh. Brett. Fucking. Kavanaugh. Men don’t need your help falling upwards,
